If you're thinking about joining the Corps of Cadets at Texas A&M University, you should strongly consider The Lone Star Company.  We are a smaller, tighter-knit outfit than the majority of the Corps, and many of us hold high ranking leadership positions within the Corps including :

• 3rd Brigade Commanding Officer
• 2nd Bridgade IG Officer
• 3rd Brigade Sergeant Major
• PMC-Section Sergeant

In addition to this we have many cadets contracting with the military:

• Class of 2008-43% Army and Marine PLC
• Class of 2009-40% Army and Marine PLC
• Class of 2010-14% Army
• Class of 2011-16% Army

We also continue to uphold our tradition in L-1 of University involvement, both on and off the quad:

• 42% of eligible Cadets are in the Ross Volunteer Company
• 31% of eligible Cadets are in Parsons Mounted Cavalry
• 12% are involved in Club Sports (Rugby and Judo)
• 16% are involved in Ducks Unlimited
• 12% are A&M Camp Counselors (Impact and Fish Camp)
• 20% are involved in other assorted groups (Ags of Oak, MSC Fish, Rudders Rangers, Muster Hosts, Aggie Political Groups)
